These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PadiRent ("the Service"), a rent management application operated at padirent.com. By using PadiRent, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

PadiRent is a free web-based application that helps landlords and rental agents in Ghana manage properties, track tenants, and record rent payments. The Service is provided as-is and is currently offered at no cost.

2. Account Registration

To use PadiRent, you must:

• Provide a valid Ghana phone number for account verification
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate information about your role (landlord, agent, or tenant)

You are responsible for all activity on your account. Keep your phone secure as it is your primary authentication method.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use PadiRent for any unlawful purpose
• Enter false or misleading property, tenant, or payment information
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• Interfere with the Service's operation or security
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into PadiRent, including property details, tenant records, and payment information. We do not claim any rights over your data.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. PadiRent is a record-keeping tool — it does not verify the legal validity of tenancy agreements, payment claims, or property ownership.

5. Service Availability

We aim to keep PadiRent available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Limitation of Liability

PadiRent is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Loss of data due to technical failures
• Decisions made based on information displayed in the app
• Disputes between landlords and tenants
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

PadiRent is a management tool, not a legal or financial advisor. Always consult appropriate professionals for legal and financial matters.

7. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. We will attempt to notify you before taking such action, except in cases of severe violations.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of PadiRent after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of PadiRent shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
